We recently bought a home that was built in the 1970s. The kitchen was in desperate need of an update. We decided to hire CU Under Construction immediately after our first meeting with the sales rep, Chad. There was no doubt this was a top notch company. Chad was phenomenal throughout the process.

Our kitchen update was extensive involving removal of an external wall, a half bath, laundry room, dining room and a 2-room large kitchen. They also removed all of our baseboard heaters and installed a new furnace.

Jarrod was assigned as our project manager. He was truly amazing. He communicated with us frequently throughout the project and always responded to us promptly. Given the magnitude of this project, there were many moving parts. Jarrod never missed a beat. He always knew the status of the project.

Everyone involved in this project was extremely competent and professional. We didn’t encounter one issue through the process. It was truly seamless.

Emily, the project assistant, worked with me one on one to pick out everything including the flooring, countertops all the way down to the handles on the doors. She was truly a gem. There were several selections I had to make that caused me great anxiety. With her extensive experience in this field, she was very familiar with all the various product options and would talk me through my selections quickly minimizing my stress.

I honestly cannot say enough about Shaun and Corbin, the carpenters. These two guys were so easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. Their carpentry skills are outstanding. There were several times throughout the project that they were faced with complicated issues that required the skill set of a craftsman. Without any hesitation, these two would put their heads together and figure it out. We couldn’t have been more impressed.

Greg, the electrician, was also simply incredible. He was very personable, professional and competent. He was always thinking 10 steps ahead when working on our project. We really enjoyed working with him.

Lastly, there are so many folks at CU Under Construction that made our kitchen remodel a success and too many to mention. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable, professional and respectful. Our kitchen is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined.

Three years ago, we had C-U Under Construction remediate a major insurance claim on our condo. The unit above ours had a burst washing machine hose that steadily pumped water down to our unit. It was raining inside! C-U worked seamlessly with our insurance company and the other unit involved. Excellent work! Very professional!

Fast-forward to today. We sold the condo and the buyers is asking us to look at an area of concern. Mike Randolph was out there the next day and quickly provided a professional assessment using the latest technology. To top it off, C-U did not charge for the assessment. Top notch!

Where do we begin? We are extremely happy with the jobs done by the crew at CU Under Construction.

Our new roof was made possible by KC Victor who would not give up after our insurance company turned us down 4 times for hail damage which occurred in September 2022.

Mike Randolph worked hard behind the scene, always taking our phone calls and staying on top of our insurance claim insuring that we got every dollar we were owed for the property damage.

Our exterior make-over project came to fruition at the suggestion and input of KC Victor. We cannot say enough good things about KC.

Tyler Crowl was my project manager and he was super. I had some health issues that created some unique requirements. Tyler was able and willing to accommodate all of my special needs. He even went above and beyond for me on some of those needs. He seemed masterful at coordinating the different work crews to be at my place at the right times, so as not to be in conflict with each other. There were a couple of days at the end of my project that required more than one work crew to be working at the same time. When that happened, the work crews were very accommodating to each other. There was no " how can you help me" , but rather, " how can I help you " to get the job done. A big shout out goes to Nate, Randy, Ryan, Korbyn Fatammia, Jacob, Owen, Brandon, Mark, just to name a few. Chad Detamore was my initial contact with CU Under Construction. He came to my place to see what I wanted done and to then work up an estimate. He worked with me from start to finish to see that the project stayed on budget. Kudos to Chad for all of his work, that resulted in my project actually coming in under budget. That's right, UNDER budget. Courtney and Christina were very helpful in keeping the communications, with regards to any changes I wanted done, and the resulting cost difference, open. I have called CU Under Construction in the past for roofing,siding and gutter replacement work relating to hail damage. We were so satisfied, we called them for some remodeling--replacement of french doors which ended up being a bit more work than we thought because we needed to replace framing and one support beam and they did a great job diagnosing and addressing the issues. I trust their diagnoses, workmanship and expertise. Everyone we have dealt with was helpful, skilled and did a great job. Most recently, we had a dishwasher motor leak cause water to leak into our cabinet boxes. Upon removing the damaged cabinet boxes, they found damaged drywall, kept us and our insurance adjuster informed and did a great job. They were on time, professional, friendly and skilled. They listened to specific concerns I had and then replaced the damaged drywall, cabinets while taking precautions so as not to cause any health issues for our family members. Through no fault of theirs, a countertop arrived damaged and so they made sure we could use our kitchen until an undamaged countertop arrived. We highly recommend Cu Under Construction!

MY HOUSE HAD FLOODED!! I called a construction company in town that was doing a lot of advertising since they merged their business. They did come out and talk to me about doing repair work but I couldn't get them to return my calls with additional questions. If I couldn't get them to return phone calls, why would I want to do business with them?
Someone had suggested contacting C-U Under Construction. I had no experience with them and no knowledge of their reputation in CU. It turns out that their were an excellent choice to do what I needed to get my home back in pre-flood condition.
ADDISON BOYD came out to see what I needed. He was very pleasant and highly experienced. He thought of and suggested things I might consider for the repairs. As I had no experience at flood repair and insurance claims his insights were extremely helpful. I sensed his customer care and felt he was concerned with the correct kind of work needed and the quality of that work. I read reviews on C-U Under Construction showing just those standards.
Their company took over coordinating old flooring removal, furniture move out and in, floor installation with Flooring Surfaces and carpentry work. Having them tie all 3 functions together and seeing to all the details was huge for me. It gave me ONE COMPANY to deal with!!
For any wood working be sure to get RANDY/CARPENTER for wood work trim out. He has a high standard of work excellence and he knows what you need even before you do. He makes sure your woodwork is professional.
Finally, the Project Supervisor TYLER CROWL, he kept it all flowing together in a timely and professional way. If something needed his review, his people were right on the phone with him. He always stopped by to check on the project, answer questions, check for quality and see to any detail that needed smoothing. He can even calmly handled a stressed out homeowner! He was quick to answer any texts and phone calls. He made you feel like he had time for your needs and that you were an important customer for them. He went way beyond the normal expected work level and did some little things that made me a VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!

From the first consultation until the completion of the whole project, I was given excellent customer service and communication. Tyler had a can-do attitude when I told him about my ideas, and he made our vision a reality. CU Under Construction has been fantastic to work with! Have used their HVAC service and couldn’t be happier. I purchased an ecobee thermostat and my set up only had 4 wires and the ecobee called for 5. I hired CU to come out and replace the wire and they had an alternative solution for the wiring which saved me hundreds of dollars! On top of that, my sensor that I purchased with the ecobee was bad and they took it for me and filed a warranty replacement on my behalf even though I didn’t purchase the unit from them. I’m a customer for life!
